Lexi, the Monkey

So, Lexi has turned into quite the little monkey these days. And, she has the boo-boos to show for it. This is just one of her little monkey moments, that we caught on tape.

Lexi's First Boo-boo

Well, Lexi finally got her first boo-boo today. I'm honestly surprised that it took this long. She climbs on everything. I can only imagine what life is going to be like in a couple months, and I think it's going to be rough. She tries to climb up on everything (and I'm really not kidding). Just yesterday, alone, she turned her toy bucket upside down, pushed it over to the coffee table and tried to climb up. She also pushed the bathroom stool over to the bathtub and tried to climb in. She also was climbing in and out and over and through her carseat. I'm really surpised that she still hasn't gotten hurt, until today. She was walking around the coffee table and lost her footing right at the corner. She fell and scraped her chin on either the coffee table or the surround sound control box. But, she cried for a really long time before she finally fell asleep in my arms.
