Lexi has figured out a new game to play that cracks me up. She has noticed that when someone comes to your door, they usually knock and you open the door. So, Lexi will go into any room in our house--the office, her bedroom, even the bathroom--and close to the door to lock herself inside. Then, I hear...knock, knock, knock. She puts her little hand into a fist and knocks. I can get the door open like 3 inches before she closes it on me. And...knocks again. She can play this game for like a half hour before she finally comes out of whichever room she is in.
I can't believe how fast they grow up. I can't believe that she is already 14 months. She is becoming more and more like a kid and less like a baby. I am amazed at how quickly she picks things up, like knocking. She is even beginning to say a few words, like "mama" or "up" or "beep, beep." She just makes me laugh and laugh. I love that little girl!
