Oakley Rodeo 2010

We were able to go to the Oakley Rodeo again this year. I love dressing Lexi up in her rodeo outfit. She even got pink boots this year! They are adorable. But, she seemed like she was actually enjoying the rodeo this year. She loves animals, so it was easy to get her to pay attention to all the animals that were coming out of the shoots.

Swimming

On July 3, 2010, Lexi got to go swimming for the first time. She didn't exactly like the water, which surprised me because she loves the bath. But, after an hour or so of working with her, she began to warm up to the idea. We bought a cheap little floatie thing, that she absolutely hated! She would scream and cry whenever we tried to put her in it. If we actually got her in it, she would try her hardest to get out. So, Thayne ended up holding her the whole time in the pool. But, she looked like she was beginning to enjoy it. Here are some pictures:

Camping

Last weekend, we took a bunch of friends up to Hoyt's Peak to go camping. We stayed Friday night to Sunday morning. We got to go on a few short hikes, shoot our bows, and enjoy the outdoors. We even had a couple deer walk right past our camp. Lexi loved getting to play outside and never have to go inside. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the trip.
